Long description
One of a pair of embroidered sirwal bottom panels consisting of black and green textile embroidered with red, green and metallic cotton thread. The top green and black sections have been embroidered with metallic threaded cotton forming a looped pattern, attached to the textile with red and white cotton thread, and decorated with red cross stitch in the centre of the design. The panel has been folded and the two lengths stitched together along part of the green section. The bottom of the panel is embroidered with a linear pattern of green, red and metallic threaded white cotton. The embroidery is seamless, though the backing fabric has been folded and stitched along the two lengths. The backing fabric has a blue brand woven into the cotton textile reading [?]BROTHERS.
