Description
Feather and cane head ornament with seed and trade bead pendants.
Long description
Feather and cane head ornament with seed and trade bead pendants. It consists of two flat circles of cane, constructed from thin strips of cane which have been looped round several times and tied together to form rings. Sticking out between the rings are short red and yellow feathers. Hanging from one side of the ring are pendant strings of beads with brown seeds at the ends. Most strings are of white beads, but some have blue and red beads, some blue, red and white beads and some red and white beads. [El.B 22/01/2009]
