Long description
Long leaf-shaped sword [.1], with hide bound hilt and hide scabbard [.2] with attached hide belt. The blade is made of iron or steel. The sheath is stitched together along the back and is decorated on the front with a raised line design. The belt is wide with ridges running lengthways along it and is attached through a hole in the front of the sheath. It has a hole at either end and a second piece of hide knotted through one of them. The belt is decorated in two places. One has pink beads and the other has red ?seeds and a cowrie shell. [SM 03/09/2007]
