- Long description
- Wooden rest of staff, used by a fakir. Dark coloured horizontal section of wood, mounted with brass coloured metal plates, decorated with swirls and geometric patterns. At either end ivory plates have been nailed to the surface. This is attached to a vertical, wooden staff the tip of which is mounted in brass. This staff is supported by four iron metal struts.
