Decorative envelope. This envelope (2024.22.37.1) contains six small decorative envelopes - 'Pochibukuro' (2024.22.37.2-7).
Long description
Rectangular paper envelope with printed design. Natural coloured paper with three horizontal red stripes on the left and three stripes - one green, one brown and one black - on the right. There are three faces - a young man, a man wearing a brown hat and woman with a traditional Japanese nihongami hairstyle. The envelope has two vertical lines of Japanese text. On the reverse there is Japanese script.
