Long description
Hoe with iron blade set into a bamboo handle. The blade has a narrow tang which expands into the flat, crescentic blade. The handle is cylindrical with an expanded, curved head consisting of the natural root. The head has a rectangular slot into which the tang of the blade is set, secured with a rectangular wedge of wood. There is a small incised symbol of three radiating lines on the underside of the blade. [JC [OPS Move] 6/1/2017]
