According to many online geneology sites Edith Holland Lobdell was born in Hartford, Connecticut, USA in 27 October 1857. She married Edward Stetson in 1879. On 11 March 1884 she had a son named Clarence Cutting Stetson in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine, USA. She died in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine, USA on 21 February 1933. Therefore if the writing on this box is correct Edith Holland Stetson probably owned the box in 1884.
