- Long description
- Comprises 4 widths of warp-faced cotton textile, stitched together along their long edges. The two outer widths have black and red warp stripes; the inner widths have small areas of intricate single-faced brocading in black and red. At one end the cloth is fringed and brocaded in blue. In August 2006 Dr. Vibha Joshi noted from the database entry that this textile would not be brocade but supplementary weft very finely done, which gives the appearance of brocade. [ZM 02/08/2006]
