Description: Man's cloth, worn around the shoulders. [SM 04/05/2007]
Long description: Comprises 4 widths of warp-faced cotton textile, stitched together along their long edges. The two outer widths have black and red warp stripes; the inner widths have small areas of intricate single-faced brocading in black and red. At one end the cloth is fringed and brocaded in blue. [SM 04/05/2007]

Research and responses: In August 2006 Dr. Vibha Joshi noted from the database entry that this textile would not be brocade but supplementary weft very finely done, which gives the appearance of brocade. [ZM 02/08/2006]
