- Long description
- Orange and white checked rectangular cotton cloth with green and brown interwoven decoration. Possibly a donkey cloth. The cloth has warp stripes of orange and white, with lines of black in between. The weft is mainly orange, with wide white weft stripes at the two ends and the middle. The checked pattern is created by supplementary weft stripes of green yarn flanked by dark brown wool: these threads float over the white stripes on one side of the cloth. There is a short fringe at each end.
