- Hide shield. It is elliptical in shape and curved. On the underside there is a band of wood stitched down the centre of the shield, the handle is carved from this. There is hide stitching around the edge of the shield. It is decorated with red and black pigment in a circular design. [AB [OPS Move] 15/8/2016]
