A fire sale is the sale of goods at extremely discounted prices. Gwaai Edenshaw, the maker of "Fire Sale", describes this exhibit as a commentary on the 'price of things', specifically Haida objects in the Pitt Rivers Museum collection, and illustrates the discrepancy in their ascribed 'value'.
