Research and responses

“gennas” are of two kinds - A village or an individual observing one of the type called kennü or khamani only refrains from work. The kind called Ketsannü, kechenna, or tsenna is stricter - when observed by a village means communication with others outside the village is forbidden. (The Rengma Nagas, J. P. Mills, 1937).
