Long description
Lute, with a teardrop-shaped body, fully rounded underneath. It has six remaining metal strings and eight bone tuning pegs. The front of the body is incised with a foliate design, and inlaid with small pieces of mother-of-pearl and a section of stained plastic giving a tortoiseshell effect.
