Description
Hooked saddle. [CW 24/11/99]
Long description
Hooked wooden saddle. Consisting of two semi-circular boards, which have two wooden projections nailed to them with iron nails. One of these projections is slotted through the other. Plaited plant fibre cords [1901.41.1 .3] have been perforated through the boards, which would secure it to the animal. [ASh [OPS move] 12/6/2017]
