- Long description
- Camel saddle bag, black, madder and white in colour. Warp faced plain weave. Many pick-up stripes, three with motifs, others patterned. 'Colour and weave' stripes. Floats on reverse. 'Dead' area in centre and at ends of cloth. Warp ends held in place by stitching, leaving short fringes. Selvedges stitched to form two bags. Made on a ground loom, this is used for carrying personal effects. [RJ 31/1/2003]
