Description
Ice cream cone of recycled tin [.2] with a lid [.1]. [N.B. 'DCF 2004-2006 What's Upstairs?' 12/4/2005]
Long description
Ice cream cone of recycled tin. The cone consists of a tin cone (1999.33.26 .2) with a flat base and rounded lid (1999.33.26 .1). Ice cream is poured into these cones and then frozen and then the ice cream is often eaten with spoons similar to 1999.33.1 and 1999.33.2. The cone is made from pieces of what was a corn oil can. The exterior of the cone is plain tin but in the interior of the main body it is possible to see the printed writing and designs from the original can. The lid is made of plain tin. [MdeA 10/11/99]
