Research and responses

Teri Rofkar (Tlingit Tribe) and Luba Dovgan-Nurse examined this object during a research visit in November 2011. They made the following comments: This item is coiled and not made of root. It might not be a hat but a functional item, maybe a funnel. The weave is reinforced around the rim. [El.B 22/11/2011]
