A very large thatched rectilinear building with woven grass verandah walls all round, possibly a brick built interior structure. At the back of the building can be seen the rear of a truck. This building could have been built for a local chief or local colonial official. Other photographs with this same film number were indexed by Evans-Pritchard as having been taken in that part of Zandeland he visited on a short trip into the Congo.
