Description
Iron gong, bell-shaped.
Long description
Tall single clapperless bell. Made of two hammered and shaped flat pieces of iron which have been joined at the sides. The handle is made from the metal twisted and turned over to form a ring at the top. Struck with a wooden rod, used at dances and in ceremonies, plays etc. [HLR]
