Model of fishing scoop, shovel-shaped, made from split bamboo held in place with six twined bands. Two bamboo sticks form an x-shaped frame, the scoop is bound with cane on two sides. A piece of wood forms the front of the scoop. A teardrop-shaped piece of wood fills the hole at the back of the scoop. [MJD 04/11/2009]
