Research and responses

'Hkahku' means 'upriver' and refers to Jinghpaw-speaking groups living north of Myitkyina in Kachin State. Green amongst others, however, refers to them separately from the Jinghpaw. [SHD 5/2/2001]

It is likely that Green collected this item at source. [SHD 5/2/2001]
