- Description
- Lid of modern pottery, red ware, glazed blue on the outside and white on the inside. It has a small knob handle in the centre of the exterior. The bowl for this lid is 1994.14.53 .2. [MdeA [OPS move] 23/3/2016]
- Long description
- There are two small handles on either sides of the bowl. The outside of the bowl and lid is glazed in a speckled blue, and the inside with white. 'Made in Okigwi. Nigeria' has been written in the clay on the base of the bowl whilst damp and then glazed over. The lid is possibly a replacement as although it is a perfect fit for the bowl, it is glazed in a much brighter blue.
