Long description
.18 Bowl, on reverse a trademark 'Sarawak' 'J and M PB & Co' and 'R. No [presumably 'Registered Number'] 4556.. [rest illegible]'. There is also a stamped trademark of a bell. The front of the bowl is decorated with a view with a ?Norse boat with sail raised and setting sun. The bowl is pink on white. The rim is blue on white and is decorated with shell and floral motifs. See RDF for details about Pottery. This bowl's colourways are the reverse of 1998.11.14 which is of the same design. There are two flaws in the china in the bowl part of the bowl, one a crack and the other a 'lump'.
