Research and responses

There is evidence that collector made warbonnets, but this specimen, on account of the sinew-sewn beadwork in a different colour scheme to that usually adopted by him, may be of Indian manufacture. There is a list in RDF giving specifications for 30 pieces of rawhide, probably for binding the feathers on a warbonnet such as this.
