Long description
Round cap of coiled basketry, completely covered with cowrie shells. A long tail of red cloth with black leather edging, white leather applique pattern and tassel of brown and black leather strips, is attached to the crown of the hat and hangs down. 3 smaller flaps of cloth with leather edging and applique are also attached to the hat: these end in plaited leather thongs which are joined together.
