1902.88.61Pellet bow, made from wood. The bow is made from a straight piece of wood which is pointed and notched at each tip. There is a carved wooden grip in the centre of the bow which is tied to the main body with strips of ?cane. The string of the bow, a thin piece of wood, is tied to each end of the bow and splits in two in the section in front of the grip. There is a woven sling section for shooting the pellets. 1923.28.11Pellet bow, made from bamboo. The bow has been bound at two sections towards one end with lengths of twisted plant fibre. The tips of the bow have been notched, attached to which is the double length bowstring, which is made from twisted plant fibre.
