1900.63.5Shield, pointed at both ends, painted with a red pigment. Both faces of the shield are decorated with transverse bands of rattan and stitched over with cane plant fibre. On the reverse of the shield there is a decorative wooden handle carved from the body of the shield in relief with traces of black painted decoration on both the handle and on the surface of shield around it.
