- Lid for tinder box with lens. Metal lid covered in black varnish. a circular lens is set in the centre of the lid with a ?brass rim. The top of the lid is decorated with a ?gilded foliate border. For the other components of this box see [1951.6.39 .1 & .3] [BS [OPS move] 17/8/2017]

1940.4.37.3Bundle of sulphur matches ("spunks"). From a tinder box set. The matches are made from wood. Each match is flat with pointed tips, the tips are coated in sulphur.
