Amulet, of a red plastic bell, which is depicted with inscriptions and images of the Sacred Heart, in an envelope. Found with a rectangular metal card [1985.52.2676 .1]. [ASh [OPS move] 3/2/2017]
Long description
Amulet, a rectangular metal card [.1], and a flat red plastic bell [.2], with inscriptions and images of the Sacred Heart, in an envelope. The card [.1] has an image of the Sacred Heart printed on a background with the inscription: "ARRÈTE! LE CŒUR DE JÉSUS EST LÀ", the reverse of the card has not been painted. The red bell [.2] has on one side a faded image of ?Jesus with the inscription stencilled in gold: "Souvenir du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre LA SAVOYARDE 17,500, K" and has been painted with green a pink paint with a floral pattern. At the bottom of the bell there is a red ribbon which attaches an oval medal to the bell. On one side of the medal there is a figure of Jesus with the inscription: "CŒUR SACRE DE JESUS AVEZ PITIE DE NOUS" on the other side there is an image of the Sacred Heart and the inscription: "CŒUR SACRE DE JESUS AVEZ PITIE DE NOUS".
