- Embellished woman's jacket. The jacket is made from brocaded silk and indigo dyed cotton textile. The front and back panels of the jacket are made from a black silk with brocaded woven floral, bird and dragon designs in gold and white. The front of the jacket has been edged with red silk embroidered with white, green, orange and purple satin stitch. The collar is lined with a blue and white chequered silk as are the side vents of the jacket. The front and back panel of the jacket has been decorated with a white silk braid 44 mm wide with a woven geometric design in red, green and yellow with pink flowers. The braid has been edged on both sides with pink pom-pom trim. The sleeves of the jacket have been embellished with bands of appliquéd silk and brocaded silk. The lower section of the sleeves and the bottom section of the jacket have been decorated with indigo dyed cotton with curvilinear designs in red, blue and white. [FB 12/09/2012]
