Long description
Amulet, double-sided silver pendant, with St. Augustine on one side and religious figures on the other, and a loop for suspension. The central section of the pendant in circular; on one side St. Augustine is depicted in profile in relief with the inscription 'SAN AUGUSTINE' above him in an arc. The other side depicts other religious figures in relief; these figures look like the Virgin Mary and Joseph kneeling before ?God, who is holding the baby Jesus. The central circular section is enclosed by an arch shape mounted on top of two pillars. [RB 04/07/2012]
