- Long description
- Amulet, oval metal pendant, with depiction's of Lourdes on both sides, and with a loop for suspension. The pendant is oval in shape with ten nodules around the outside. There is a arch shaped structure in the centre of the pendant, in which the depiction's of Lourdes are situated. On one side there is an arch with iron railings across it, and another arch above it with a figure of the Virgin Mary in. On the other side there are again two arches; there is a figure kneeling in prayer in the lower one and a figure of the Virgin Mary in the upper one. Around the bottom edge of the pendant on one side there is the following inscription: 'SOUVENIR DE [?] DE LOURDES'. [RB 18/07/2012]
