- Long description
- Amulet, red linen heart shaped satchel, embroidered, with a blue cotton backing, with a pink linen loop for suspension, with fragments. The satchel is embroidered with metal thread and wire, the metal thread and decorative flat wire is distorted with some areas no longer attached. There are two pieces detached, one a textile disc painted with a ?face on the front with a hole at each side where it would have been attached to the amulet, the original stitch holes are visible on the amulet. The second detached piece is a small flat metal sequin with a hole in the centre. [ACA 29/03/2012]
