Knife [.1] with two edged blade and leather bound handle, with a leather sheath with a leather carrying loop and tassel.

Long description

Knife [.1] with two edged blade and leather bound handle, with a leather sheath with a leather carrying loop and tassel. The knife blade is narrow and straight. The handle is bound with red leather that is stitched along the back. The end of the handle near the blade is painted black and there are five widthways black lines on the grip. The sheath is also made of red leather that has been stitched along the back. It is decorated with longitudinal black painted lines that are also incised. Around the mouth is a section of woven leather strips. The tassel is made of brown leather and is decorated with widthways red painted lines with incised lines that are highlighted in black either side of them. The carrying loop is also made of brown leather and has a leather button and loop to attach the two ends together. [SM 12/06/2007]
