Long description
Painted clay figure representing 'Pigsy' a mythological pig figure. Rounded pig figure wearing a black hat on his head and a low slung black robe with white edging, showing his chest. His eyes and eyebrows have been painted in black whilst his mouth, nose, cheeks and ears are pink. He also wears a green belt over his robe and is carrying something in his left hand. On his back a black stick made from wood protrudes from the clay. Grey paint in fine lines has been used to indicate chest hair. [FC 10/6/2009]
