Woman's shawl to be worn with skirt 2008.54.14 .1. [MdeA 11/09/2008]
Long description
Woman's shawl made from a single strip of warp faced weave textile. The shawl is bright orange / yellow in colour. At both ends of the shawl there is a band approximately 225 mm long of geometrical design supplementary weft weaving in gold yarn. These two bands of supplementary weft run across the whole width of the textile. The warp threads have been twisted together in groups and knotted at the end to form a fringe at both ends of the textile. [MdeA 12/09/2008]
