- One of five pieces of dark blue silk kimono.
- Long description
- Dark blue silk kimono, richly embroidered with mythical persons, dragons, fish, cranes and clouds. Sleeves lined with red silk crepe with tortoises (the symbol of longevity) couched in gold thread. Cut into 5 pieces (donor said she had used it to make an evening bag): 2 sleeves, 2 sides and 1 small piece from a side.
