Description
Backstrap for climbing cultivated date palm tree.
Long description
Ropemaking. There are two large loops at each end. These are made by stitching the palm fibre ropes around bundles of cloth. The middle of the strap is made of cloth wrapped around the palm fibre and stitched into the fibre with red yarn. The cloth is coloured cream.
