Description
Purse,used for carrying Maria Theresa Dollars (a currency no longer used).
Long description
Purse, white, black, orange, maroon, blue and metallic silver in colour. Twined, braided and tasselled. Used for carrying Maria Theresa Dollars (a currency no longer used). The main body and the handle of the purse is made out of wrapped cotton strips twined together. The twining is arranged in metallic silver, maroon, orange, black and blue bands, while the tassels hanging from the base are white. What looks like the other end of the tassel material forms four loops at the opening of the purse.
