- Wooden thread winder stand. Square base, carved with leaf pattern, and a tall, bevelled, square-sectioned piece loosely slotted in to the base. 1942.1.387.2Wheel from wooden bobbin winder. Central cylindrical axis with two layers of seven rectangular spokes. The spokes are connected with looped cane. The axis is carved with incised lines, and there is string wrapped around a raised cylindrical knop at one end. 1902.88.429.2Piece of stand for yarn winder, carved in the shape of a bird. Wing, head, breast and tail of the bird are painted red. Rectangular perforation cut through the body of the bird, with a rectangular piece of wood attached part of the way through the hole.
