Long description
Quiver, consisting of ?burnt tube of bamboo, open at one end, with two loops of twisted plant fibre inserted through perforations in the bamboo. Threaded through these hoops are plant fibre bands, some bound together and others twisted. A strip of cane is attached to the hoops to form a handle or sling. Basketry case [1928.69.1481 .2] is connected to the side of the bamboo tube. Lid of ?bamboo bark around bamboo core, with two lines of plaited plant fibre cord and wire binding.[EH [OPS move] 13/9/2017]
