- Optical toy with a plain wooden frame and painted glass depicting a butterfly, caterpillar, chrysalis and eggs on a plant leaf. There are two other pieces of glass painted with black areas, which, when slid sideways, obscure the chrysalis and caterpillar, and the other the butterfly and chrysalis.
