Wooden glaive with wide, flat, curved blade, squared at the tip, and backward projecting spur. The blade has a longitudinal mid rib which is incised with a central line. The shaft is cylindrical and is separated from the blade by an hourglass collar. At the base is an elaborately carved grip consisting of a conical shape, a knobbed expansion and an elongated conical butt. [JC [OPS Move] 09/08/2016]
