- Description
- Dark wood club with spheroidal, perforated stone head. The wooden shaft is split at the distal end where it is bound with strips of plaited plant fibre. Between the stone head and the shaft is a possibly resinous substance inset with teeth. The handle tapers towards the butt where there is a small raised band. Traces of black pigment or varnish remain on the stone head and plant fibre. [JC [OPS Move] 05/08/2016]

There is a perforated rectangular projection at the distal end with a fragment of plant fibre remaining within.
