Long description
Wooden dao carrier with blue and red woven belt. The carrier is decorated on one side with two rows of acutely angled triangles filled with cross hatching facing inwards with two rows of incised circles in the centre. There are 11 triangles on each row and 23 circles on each row. There is an incised chevron pattern at either end of the decorated side. The carrier is also decorated with an incised pattern that covers both ends where the belt passes through. The belt is blue and red and decorated with a chevron pattern for part of its length.
