- Sounding board in the shape of a shield. The wood is curved. The concave side is painted in decorative bands with white pigment. There are two holes at the wide end. [MJD 09/05/2013]

1884.54.55.5Model paddle for the canoe 1884.54.55 .1. Carved from a single piece of wood, with an oval shaped blade that is carved into a tip. On the upper surface are incised crosses in the centre and at the edges and near to the edge are two rows of resin crosses in a diamond pattern.
