Research and responses

This object was examined by Dr Christina Riggs, University of East Anglia, as part of the Fell Fund project 'Characterizing the World Archaeology Collections'. She thought that it might be a fake, and is certainly not Greek or Roman as claimed in the accession book. [AS 16/02/2010]
