It is possible that this object was collected by EH Man. There are no objects with the fraction number 12642 in the green book. If my theory about fraction numbers is correct [see Introduction to the Lt-Genl PR catalogue] then objects with this number should have associated dates of between May and September 1881 [AP Leverhulme project on founding collection 1995-1998]
