Long description
Powder horn, probably of a buffalo horn, curved with wood bottom and perforated, attached stopper. The stopper has six perforations and resembles a cockerel's comb. The horn has two lengths of plant fibre string that are attached through two holes in the horn body and one in the stopper. [SM 02/11/2007]
