Long description
Rectangular wooden dao carrier, open with single bar, the upper part edged with red dyed hair tufts. Attached to textile belt covered with coix seeds. Belt is of indigo dyed warp faced cotton textile, with string fastening loop at one end. It is joined to the back of the carrier by means of cane stiffeners and rattan hinges. [LM 28/2/2007]
